This year's weekend away will be held at Donnington Grove during the August Bank holiday.
Cost is a very reasonable £175. Buggy hire is £25 per day. We've already paid £50 deposit. The balance (£125) is required on departure at reception.
The weekend opens on Friday with the JR Gilks pairs competition. Meet for breakfast at The Hatchett Inn, a Wetherspoons pub in Newbury, at 9am on Friday morning. 12 Market Place, Newbury, RG14 5BD.
On Saturday there's an individual stableford for The Anchor Open trophy.
And on Sunday we play the fun team competition - 6-6-6 format.
There will be prizes every day for NTP's on all the par threes.
As usual we will collect £10 from each player for the birdies fund and the prize money for the team competition. Birdie shares will be calculated on a daily basis.
Notes:
- The rooms will be ready for occupation after 2:30pm. So we will play Friday's competition, then check in.
- Check-out time on Sunday is 10:30 am. So we will need to check out BEFORE the competition.
- The hotel operates a no smoking policy.
- We get breakfast on Saturday and Sunday
- 3 course evening meal - own choices - on Friday and Saturday
