Knockout Semi Finals
Quarter finals results
The quarter finals were played or conceded before the 25th September either at Sherfield Oaks (14 Aug) or on other courses. The results of the Quarter Finals were:
Bob Budd conceded to Sam Fraser due to non-availability.
Bob Lester beat Bob Palmer (2 up) at Rowlands Castle.
Mel Blake beat Richie Earp 8 and 7 at Rowlands Castle.
Jason Mihell beat John Nash 4 and 2 at Sherfield Oaks.
Semi Finals results
The semi finals were played on 25th September at Petworth Downs
Sam Fraser beat Bob Lester 5 and 3. Bob gave Sam a bit of a chance with his air (tee) shot on the 15th!
Mel Blake and Jason Mihell were all square at the 18th, so it was determined on countback, and Mel won.
Sam and Mel will play the final at Blacknest on the 16th October.
I've witnessed both of you playing well this year, so it should be an interesting match!
